Description
This Chardonnay is fashioned in a Burgundian style - not an easy feat in Australia. To accomplish this, viticulturalist Michelle Wood picks relatively early in the growing season, and award-winning winemaker Stuart Pym uses oak-barrel ageing very judiciously to craft the finished wine. The result is a clean, crisp yet robust Chard with a sophisticated balance of fruit and oak nuances.

Tasting Notes
It's relatively pale with aromas of grapefruit, minerals, rock candy and lightly creamy lees characters, all in comfy harmony. Oak is a restrained seasoning. The palate is succulent and lively, with good acidity lifting a middle palate of sustained, refined flavour, and reinforcing a very moreish character here that keeps you coming back for more.
