Tasting Notes
The Cabernet that forms the basis for this wine was planted in Montalcino in 2004 in mixed sandy soil. The grapes these vines produced were of such exceptional quality that it was decided they deserved a wine of their own rather than being incorporated into other blends. A small percentage of Sangiovese was added to further enrich the overall wine. A superb Supertuscan with classic elegance, complex spice and wild berry and a long finish.
