100% Mencia. Clearly, there was real ambition here to make something smart and now we have the results. Almost nonchalantly floods the mouth with oak, forest fruits and plum, the texture bewitching, focusing on the fruit, yet providing the edge of tannin that is an integral part of the wine's pedigree. Winemaking of a high order. Score - 97. (Decanter World Wine Awards, 2018)
