Tasting Notes
This offers a marked step up in complexity if not refinement with its expressive and cool nose of red currants, spice, forest floor, floral elements and a distinct sauvage character, all of which are trimmed in menthol and wood scents. There is obvious minerality to the delicious and sleekly muscular broad-shouldered flavors that brim with minerality on the powerful, focused and hugely persistent finale. This is very firmly structured and also very clearly built-to-age yet it's not especially austere and particularly in the context of what is typical for a young Clos de B�ze. Drink: 2031+.
