Tasting Notes
The 2007 Barolo Rocche is a striking wine. Layers of perfumed, silky red fruit wafts from the glass in this round, totally inviting Barolo. Spice and rose petal notes develop over time. This is simply dazzling. The integration of French oak, once a bit of an Achilles heel, is masterful. I love the balance and intensity here. Anticipated maturity: 2015-2025. Score - 94.
