The 2013 Gewurztraminer Grand Cru Furstentum is a great wine! Exotic fruit aromas on the very clear, precise and quite coolish nose lead to a rich, powerful, complex, highly elegant and subtle palate with a long, piquant and tension-filled, almost dry finish. Very expressive and highly recommend. 'Limestone and clay is taming the Gewurztraminer, which is like a wild horse that needs to be ridden,' Catherine Faller says. Drink: 2015-2035. Score - 95.
