Tasting Notes
A discreet touch of wood sets off ripe aromas that combine cassis and dark raspberry with an intense earthiness that can also be found on the rich and relatively full-bodied flavors that are supple and beautifully textured as the tannins are comparatively fine for this appellation and there is excellent length on the balanced finish. This is a lovely effort and with the robust power, very Clos des Chênes in character. Drink [from] 2015+. Score - 90. (Allen Meadows, burghound.com, April 18, 2010)
