Tasting Notes
This estate has been in the Malenchini family for more than two centuries. Their 2009 Chianti shows lovely aromas of red berry with a hint of leather. The palate is dry, medium bodied and delivers wonderful fruit replays. The fruit and the tannins are in good accord, and their balance and prominence suggests an ageing potential of 3+ years. This wine is a fantastic value and delivers tremendous quality at this price point. Enjoy with veal or lamp chops. (VINTAGES panel, March 2010)
