Tasting Notes
The inaugural whiskey from the Virginia-based distiller is made by using the 1930's-era single copper pot still. Bright gold in colour; aromas of honey, pear, hay and spice. Flavours of almond, vanilla and oak on the viscous palate lead to a bold and sweet lead to a medium-bodied and fruity finish.
Serving Suggestions
Serve with seared steak and creamy mashed potatoes topped with savoury gravy or enjoy in a classic Manhattan.
