This dark, powerful wine unleashes all kinds of smoky, tarry, marmite, prune and peppery character so typical of the Cape. Also some celery seed character. It's medium-full, dense, graceful and quite refined on the palate, if a little hot on the finish. Love the focus and elegance. A northern Rhone style syrah flavour-wise, with some New World gumption.
