Tasting Notes
The 2017 Bastor-Lamontagne is very, very pretty. Candied lemon peel, burnt pineapple, mint, lightly honeyed notes and chamomile all develop beautifully in the glass. Bastor is typically airy and lifted, but in 2017 the wine has a bit more depth than has been the norm in recent years. A hint of passionfruit laced with floral notes add the final shades of nuance.
