Tasting Notes
The wines of Montagny are typically fuller in body than those produced in areas farther north in the C�te Chalonnaise. They are known for their vibrant acidity and for demonstrating a fine mineral note thanks to the great concentration of limestone in the soils. This example is rich and ripe, with a nutty complexity layered atop the fruit and spice tones. A solidly made wine. (VINTAGES panel, Sept. 2015)
