This vineyard boasts impressive volcanic soils, which is a feature that marries beautifully with Riesling's noted ability to precisely articulate provenance. Together, these factors provide the mineral backbone of this wine. The residual sugar will make this a great match for a wide variety of spicier foods, but it will have the range for grilled sausages, pulled pork, grilled ribs, or seafood appetizers with a spicy dip.
Tasting Notes
Aromas of dried fruits, honey, citrus, and minerals here along with a soft petrol note. Just off-dry, the palate presents a good crisp acidity, a ripe fruit core, tangy citrus and more characterful petrol before closing with a crisp finish.
