Tasting Notes
The star behind the unique, distinct white wines of Condrieu is Viognier. Amazingly, the grape fell out of favour in the 1960s and very nearly became extinct in the 1970s. The efforts of a small group of dedicated producers have seen Condrieu's gorgeously textured, floral wines, with their lavender, apricot and exotic spices, become one of the most coveted styles in the world.
