Tasting Notes
For five generations the Besancenot family have explored and sought to express the varied terroir of Beaune. Their 2008 is a very pretty wine that offers aromas of sweet strawberry, cherry, and spice along with a lifted floral note. The palate is dry, intriguingly complex, well structured and balanced with generous fruit character, and a very long finish. Lovely from beginning to end. Try with pork roast, or grilled salmon.
