Tasting Notes
The purple-colored 2005 Malbec Single Vineyard was sourced from a small parcel of 88-year-old vineyards and aged for 12 months in 50% new French oak. It offers up an expressive bouquet of wood smoke, spice box, incense, black cherry, and plum. This leads to a full-bodied wine with layers of savory black fruit, plenty of spice and earth notes, enough structure to evolve for 2-3 years, and a lengthy finish.
