Tasting Notes
An outstanding 2007 1er Cru from a well-respected producer. Medium ruby-garnet colour with aromas of blueberry, rose petals, earth tones, red cherry, smoke and vanilla bean. Quite dry with a firm texture. There is an exquisite good balance between all elements -- fruit, acid and tannins. This will evolve favourably with 4-6 years in a cellar, and then show well for up to 12+ more. (VINTAGES panel, Oct. 2011)
