Tasting Notes
This Block Series comes from the granitic soils at Mingre in the Maule Valley's dry-farmed secano interior where the Bouchon vinification winery is also located. The wine was aged for a year in a combination of foudres and barrels, and the result is a juicy carménère with very good freshness, herbal tones, and especially prominent notes of ripe red fruits in a context of deliciously smooth tannins.
