Tasting Notes
A complex and interesting wine with aromas of power and richness then elegance and purity. Dark berry flavours with spice, warm savoury layers from soil and oak. On the palate - concentrated, plush and elegant with a very nice poise and tension. Fine chalky tannins are in abundance, there's a mineral under-currant adding flavour and depth. Nice acid line, firm youthful texture, complex and plenty of length. Well made and ready from drinking from mid 2021 through 2026+. Excellent. 35% new French oak, 100% destemmed fruit. Score - 94.
