Tasting Notes
The 2007 Chianti Classico Riserva La Forra blossoms on the palate with an exciting array of dark fruit, smoke, earthiness and licorice. French oak adds volume and spiciness but without detracting from the purity of the fruit or the silkiness of the tannins. This is a very beautiful La Forra from Folonari. The warm, inviting personality of the vintage is on full display, making this a terrific choice for drinking over the next few years. Anticipated maturity: 2010-2017. Score - 92.
