Tasting Notes
A very pretty '08 Merlot-based Pomerol that is exquisitely put together. Aromas suggest chocolate cherry, raspberry, woodsmoke and mocha. Quite dry, yet also very flavourful, ripe and fleshy. It's all brought perfectly into line by ripe tannins and just-right acidity, giving a nice lift to the finish. Enjoy it, decanted, with roast leg of lamb, or cellar it for 3-5+ years.
