Always beautifully constructed. 2017 is oaked 14 months, 30% new French, respecting the vivid fruit; layered complexity, spice, prosciutto, whiffs of scrub. Tannins supple, enjoyment assured. Even more polished than the 2016. Score - 92. (Platter's South African Wine Guide, 2020)
