Tasting Notes
Suggested cheese pairing: Cabrales \| Tasting Note: 'Cavadinha' translates as 'well-tilled' and refers to a vineyard site in the Upper Douro near Pinh�o. This impressive Vintage Port is solidly in its prime and gives luxurious notions of Christmas pudding, sweet spices, stewed currants and raisin pie. It's gorgeously silky, with good tannin support providing shape and poise while sweetly spicy fruit sails off into the sunset. It'll show its best through 2035, especially with Cabrales cheese and dried cherries. (Vintages panel, Sept. 2019)
