Tasting Notes
González Byass celebrated its 175th year in 2010. Family-run and now under the guidance of the fifth generation, the company is recognized the world over as one of the leading families of Sherry. This amber-coloured offering is elegant in more than just name. Invitingly fragrant notes of nuts, marzipan, orange peel, dark chocolate and coffee greet the nose. The palate is balanced, off-dry and delicately textured, with coffee and chocolate operating in support of honeyed tones and light orange-peel flavours. Exquisite. (VINTAGES panel, May 2010)
