A beautiful blend of 94% Merlot and 6% Cabernet Sauvignon that nearly hit 15% natural alcohol in this remarkable vintage, proprietor Jean-Philippe Janoueix has produced a dense plum/purple-colored 2009 revealing notes of creosote, coffee, mocha, licorice, incense and blueberries as well as black fruits.
