In the mid-1990s, Michael Hope's passion for wine took him from pharamacist to farmer. He opened his first vineyard in the Hunter Valley, but he soon expanded into Western Australia. The Cracker, Australian slang for 'great' is a bold and expressive wine and is the cousin to the very popular Ripper Shiraz. The Cracker is an ideal match for braised meats, hearty stews or grilled steak.
