Tasting Notes
Deep ruby red in the glass and full of complex aromas of currant, cherry, cedar, marzipan, woodspice, blackberry, strawberry and black pepper, this Chianti is much more than just a cool nom de plume. The palate is medium bodied and shows great structure and balance, with lovely and layered fruit and spice notes, and - unlike the television show for which it is named - this wine has a long and lingering finish.
