Tasting Notes
This Syrah is sourced from two vineyard sites. The first has chalk soils rich in quartz stone, which impart aromatic complexity; and the other has Bokkeveld shale, which brings structure and body as well as floral and spice characteristics. Look for dark fruit, tobacco and spice in this wine that will enhance mid-week dining, especially when paired with grilled ribs or lamb burgers.
