Tasting Notes
The 2006 Barbaresco Chiaramonti is a beautiful wine with an expressive core of generous fruit, although it is a touch more linear and focused than the fatter Rio Sordo. The Chiaramonti offers terrific richness and depth in a ripe, perfumed style redolent of cherries, plums, flowers and sweet spices. This is a very strong effort from Ca' Rome.
