This winery was voted Best Sicilian Winery in the 2010 Vinitaly competition, and the wine itself won a Gold Medal at the 2010 International Wine Challenge. Deep ruby in the glass, with chocolate, cherry, coffee bean and baking spices. Medium-full bodied with ripe, round, generous fruit, and velvety tannins adding structure. Tasty, medium-long finish.
