The outstanding 2005 Paramount (nearly equal parts Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc blended with a touch of Petit Verdot) is an elegant, stylish, dark ruby/purple-colored effort displaying a cool mint character accompanied by blackberry, cassis, tobacco leaf, and licorice notes.
