Tasting Notes
The 2008 has not yet been reviewed, but the 2007 received a rating of 2 Glasses from the respected Italian wine guide, Gambero Rosso. Intense purple in the glass with rich notes of plum, dark fruit and white pepper. The palate is rich with sweet fruit up-front, and a peppery spice note and a touch of mocha adding complexity. Try this with a rib roast, or peppercorn steak with root vegetables. (VINTAGES panel, Sept. 2010)
