Tasting Notes
The estate's 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon Prelius emerges from the glass with generous dark fruit, grilled herbs and spices. The Prelius is an especially plump Cabernet Sauvignon from Maremma. There isn't a ton of varietal character in the glass, but the wine's overall balance and sense of proportion are terrific. Anticipated maturity: 2010-2014. Score - 89.
