Tasting Notes
Grown in soil that is predominantly limestone and clay, this is a wonderful Riesling. Golden straw-coloured with notes of spice, citrus, apple, peach, pear and some honey on the nose. The palate is a delight offering ripe orchard fruit, citrus and sweet peach all perfectly aligned with a lively and crisp acidity. A tangy, medium-long finish offers a hint of fruit sweetness as its final flourish. Enjoy with ham or with pan-fried freshwater fish. (VINTAGES panel, Sept. 2010)
