Tasting Notes
The 2009 opened with flavors of gooseberry, pipi de chat, grapefruit, minerals and stone. Its bright acidity lightened the weight...and masked any sense of sweetness. With aeration, the wine's nuances, its herbal tea aspects emerged, as well as flavors of melon and peach and an appetizing bitterness. Not a simple wine. I'd love to open a bottle right now.
