Tasting Notes
Medium ruby in the glass with a touch of garnet. The nose offers rich notes of blackberry, cherry, leather, tar and wet earth. Dry and medium bodied, the palate is very approachable, round and flavourful, well structured with silky tannins and a lovely fruit core, with lifted red fruit on the mid-palate. Lovely long finish. This wine will reward a further 3+ years in the cellar or will be delicious tonight with a rare Angus beef steak. (VINTAGES panel, June 2011)
