Tasting Notes
The 2006 Magdalena Toso is a blend of 60% Malbec and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon aged for 18 months in first use French oak. Saturated purple in color, it offers up an enticing bouquet of pain grille, graphite, lavender, black currant, and plum. Firm, dense, and remarkably youthful on the palate, this infant requires another 8-10 years of cellaring to begin to strut its stuff. All the raw materials are present; patience is required.
