Perez Cruz's 2007 Red Blend is made up of Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere, and Syrah. Purple/black in color, it sports an impressive bouquet of cedar, cinnamon, clove, sage, smoked meat, blueberry, and blackcurrant. On the palate, it displays big fruit as well as big tannin. There is plenty of material, but whether it will all come together remains to be seen. Drink it while the fruit holds. Score - 90. (Jay Miller, erobertparker.com, Dec. 2010)
