Tasting Notes
Polished to 50%, this sake won Gold Medal honours at the 2009 and 2010 US National Sake Appraisal competitions. Water-white in the glass, with quite and expressive nose of marzipan, fresh almond, floral, licorice and pumpkin spice. Good aroma replays on the palate, along with a delicious sweet-edged note of candied coconut and evaporated milk. Fine balance throughout. Pair with nagiri sushi or tandoori chicken.
