Tasting Notes
The main building of Château Bourseau was once the rectory of the parish of Lalande de Pomerol. No wonder this wine offers such divine aromas of spice, cedar, leather, earth and lovely dark fruit. The depth suggested by the nose is confirmed by the complex replays on the palate. Very well made, and finely balanced with great tangy fruit and earth tones. Try with a grilled sirloin with caramelized onions and mushrooms, or fresh berries coated in dark chocolate. (VINTAGES panel, Oct. 2010)
