Tasting Notes
Great depth to the nose of this wine from the heralded 2009 vintage. Notes of smoked meat, raspberry, black cherry and incense. Dry and medium bodied with plenty of fruit, smooth texture, velvety tannins and gentle acidity, closing with a lovely medium-long fruity finish. Quite youthful, it is ripe enough to be accessible now but will reward 1-3 years in the cellar. Enjoy tonight with veal cutlets. (VINTAGES panel, May 2011)
