Tasting Notes
Very ripe but subtle nose combines white peach, a whiff of minerals and a leesy complexity ('this shows the real maturity of 2009,' notes Potel). Rich, sweet and chewy, with a lightly metallic minerality supporting fruit-driven flavors of lemon and tangerine. A bit strict and disjointed on the back end but tactile, perfumed and impressively long. This needs further elevage and offers terrific potential. Score - 90-93.
