Tasting Notes
This is an exciting red blend with a new label depicting the US P-40 Hawk fighter planes, paying tribute to the troops in World War Il who originally used what is now the vineyard land as a training ground. Good dark fruit flavours, especially juicy blackberries. Oak influenced, with spicy notes as well. Try this with BBQ fare. (VINTAGES panel, July 2015)
