Tasting Notes
Deep garnet-purple in color, 2008 El Abuelo Grenache has a bit of a baked cherry character over preserved raspberries and blackberries and a suggestion of spice box. Very crisp and very full, it has a medium-firm level of chewy tannins and a long berry preserve finish. Drink this one now to 2015. Score - 89. (Lisa Perrotti-Brown, MW, erobertparker.com, Dec. 2010)
