Tasting Notes
Excellent colour; a rich and complex wine, both in terms of texture and flavour; the predominantly black fruits have regional background nuances of earth, with an obvious but appropriate French oak infusion from completion of fermentation in barrel. Predominantly from the 125-year-old vines of the Old Hill Vineyard. Drink [until] 2030. Score - 95. (James Halliday, winecompanion.com.au, March 2009)
