Tasting Notes
Medium red-ruby. Perfumed aromas of dark raspberry, bitter chocolate, coffee and smoke. Juicy, leanish and pretty, with lovely inner-mouth aromatic perfume to the flavors of raspberry, iron and herbs. Brisk rather than fleshy, with fresh acidity giving the wine grip. In a cooler style for Petit-Village but not at all overextracted, finishing with hints of herbs and pepper. I wonder if this will put on weight with bottle age. Score - 88.
