A fine expression of Bordeaux from 2006. Intriguing nose of cassis, ripe raspberry, plum, cola and new leather. Dry, stylishly elegant and poised, with plenty of flavour. Lovely silky texture, and a balanced finish. Could cellar for 1-2 more years, but there's no need as it is drinking beautifully tonight, decanted, with roast beef and Yorkshire pudding.
