Tasting Notes
A fine 2nd wine from an increasingly respected vintage. Medium-deep ruby colour with aromas of blueberry pie, vanilla, cassis and woodsmoke. Dry and firmly tannic with good fruit beneath. Medium-full bodied with a fairly lengthy finish. Really needs at least 3-5 years to open up, and then enjoy until 2022. (VINTAGES panel, Dec. 2011)
