Tasting Notes
Ripe black fruit, cassis, vanilla and mint notes rise from the glass here. The palate is dry, medium-full bodied and focused with big sweet dark fruit, vibrant berry fruit, vanilla and a touch of smoke. The tannins and acidity are well balanced and in harmony with the fruit. There is a good length to the generous finish. Lovely and very well priced. Enjoy this with a variety of barbecue fare, especially steaks and gourmet burgers. (VINTAGES panel, March 2011)
