Their Reserve wines are from 100% Napa Valley fruit, and this Cabernet offers the ripe blackcurrant aromas and silky tannins that lovers of Californian wines adore. This Cab is big enough to stand up to a grilled steak, but soft enough to be enjoyed on its own.
Tasting Notes
This wine delivers what you want in Napa Cab, namely a big wine overflowing with cassis, blackberry and blueberry fruit. It's also got notions of anise, cedar and smoke adding intrigue, and while the texture is generous and smooth, there's enough chewy tannin on the finish to suggest it has a fairly long life ahead.
